Windsurfer National Championships

The Windsurfer National Championships is a world class event that is returning to South Australia for the first time in over 30 years. It features course racing, marathon, slalom and freestyle, with over 80 racers competing from all around the world.

As a family friendly and super fun vibe event, the promotional design needed to follow this ‘vibe’ and be appealing to both the competitors and spectators.

The result was a simple, fun and vibrant illustration that reflects the event’s focus, the Windsurfer, with a summer-beach feel to it through the use of the waves and the colour palette.

The design was applied to a variety of promotional items such as t-shirts and drink coolers, along with social media graphics and advertising.
